Teamsters Local 202 has provided generations of hard working members with good pay, benefits and working conditions. Originally chartered in 1916 to represent produce workers at Washington Market in lower Manhattan, today Local 202 represents 4,500 workers and their families. In addition to Hunts Point Terminal Market workers, the union has expanded to include members working in diverse industries in the New York metro area.
